In this episode I am honoured to have such a candid, real and raw conversation with an Indigenous sister, Zongwe Binesikwe, Sounding Thunderbird Woman (Crystal Davey). Zongwe's mother is one of the missing and murdered indigenous women of Canada, presumed murdered by Robert Picton.
In this conversation, we peel back the layers of damage, destruction, hurt and suffering. This is an honest conversation between an indigenous woman and a indigenous woman. I ask the ignorant questions, with the intention of building a bridge. These are the conversations we need to be having. These are the conversations that make a difference.
